Incredible on both sides of the river. There are awesome views and hiking. The potholes are a very unique feature on the MN side. Watch the children closely, there are steep cliffs in both parks. The people most often injured however are not children, they are teen to adults being to adventurous.

This is my favorite park to visit! It has a lot of different hiking trails, there are incredible views of the river, and you can take rock climbing classes. There are many signs that tell you the history of the potholes, which is a very interesting topic to learn about. I highly recommend going on a boat cruise down the river, because you learn about the river and identify shapes, animals, and historical figures in the rocks. My whole family loves it, and I think everyone who goes to Interstate Park love it too.

Great park for experiencing the Saint Croix river. Rent kayaks or canoes and float down one of the most scenic rivers in the world. Check out the world's largest potholes in the rock formations near the river. These deep holes in the rocks come from fire and ice and sand, and were formed over the ever-changing eons. The depth of some of these mysterious and fascinating holes have still today not been determined! Don't slip!

Beautiful state park. One of my favorites! Great hiking, paths, etc. If bringing small children, make sure you hold their hand, or, better yet, have a kid leash. It allowed my 1 year old to climb all over, but not get hurt. You wouldn't want them to fall off a cliff!

One of my favorite state parks, beautiful scenery and great hiking trails with varying degrees of difficulty and easily accessible parking to access both sides (MN and WI) with each side side being unique and beautiful!
